For over 160 the house of Louis Vuitton has made a business of simplifying the world of travel and packing for their clients – not to mention making sure they look impeccable while doing it – providing bespoke services that have resulted in a range of one-of-a-kind, priceless pieces making their way into the archive of the brand.
In true Louis Vuitton style the brand is celebrating this heritage and history with their Time Capsule exhibit, which opened in Singapore on October 18 and runs until November 5, before moving on to Dubai and Shanghai before the year is out.
The exhibit aims to educate Louis Vuitton loyalists by highlighting the codes of the house, including the brands journey around the world, the label’s various collaboration with artists and architects, the magic of the Malle (where it all started for the brand – the trunk) and the artisans who create these bespoke pieces and work within the atelier.
For each city that is bestowed with the honour of hosting this unique exhibit of history and fashion, the rare and collectable objects will change based on location and each city’s clientele – think a bespoke, leather-bound tea box for travelling in Singapore and a miniature truck-cum-vase in Berlin.

Emma Stone has just landed a lucrative deal as the new face of Louis Vuitton. The Oscar-winning actress has reportedly signed a two-year contract with the French fashion house, estimated to be worth somewhere between $6 and $10 million.
Vuitton creative director Nicolas Ghesquière confirmed the appointment on Instagram today. he wrote, “I am truly happy #emmastone is joining #louisvuitton today as a new ambassador 💙”
